1937. 35mm SLR camera. Flocked mirror chamber. Note the name Exacta.
Manufactured between 1937 and 1948, this SLR has a waist-level finder and a horizontal-run focal-plane shutter with speeds from 12 seconds to 1/1000 second. The Carl Zeiss lens is a Biotar 5.8cm f/2.
The earliest production of the Kine Exakta had a round magnifier window in the hood, this is a later version with the rectangular window. Note the spelling of Exacta instead of the more common Exakta.
